I just have a HP laptop, i have found converters on the internet, but the one i used would only let me convert it for two minutes! The mix I am trying to upload is over an hour long

I can't help you too much. I haven't edited a video on windows in 10 years but the first thing you will need is video editing software.
There are free ones out there Perhaps someone who knows more about what's available can help you there.
You could Google Free Windows Video Editor and see what results there are. Then look up tutorials on YouTube for that program. You don't need anything fancy.
The basics of what you need to do are.
1. Open a new project Usually in the file menu
2 Drag your MP3 file in to the timeline. This is a long strip usually at the Botton of the screen
5 Drag the image from the downloads folder in to your timeline alongside the MP3 audio
6 Drag the image to match the size and length of the MP3 file in the timeline. There should be small handles you can use one on the right and left side of the image.
7 Once everything is lined up watch it back and see if it plays back ok.
8 You need to find Export or Share. Some Programs have YouTube integration. If yours doesn't you need to export a Video file. Or Master file. Try and use 1080P as the resolution and h.264 as the Codec. The export will take a long time depending on the power of your computer you should plug it in. You will also most likely hear the fans running don't worry about this.
9 Once you have a finished file go to YouTube in your browser and log in. Then press the Upload button. An Upward facing arrow with a line underneath it.
10 Browse for your video file.
11 Wait for it to upload. This will also take a very long time depending on your internet connection.
12 While it's uploading don't close the window
13 During upload you can add a title and description. there are also some options to tick. Tick them as needed.
14 Please write your tracklist in the description field so when people listen to it they can easily find a song they hear and like.

Get Filmora video editing software, or for free you can download VSDC Free Video Editor.

add an image, add a mp3, and export to a MP4, the free version will add a logo at the end of the video, you can cut off when you have uploaded it to youtube
