30 Lucky entrants will be entered into our dj competition. Each contestant will have a 20 minute set to showcase their skills. People with similar styles of EDM will be judged together. One winner from each category will be selected to play 3 upcoming Atari Safari/ Abstract Traxx Gigs. Regardless of how good or bad your set goes, you will still be allowed to enter the event for free Smile Due to limited space/time we must stick to a few rules.

1. We will only have a competition for a style of music if there are enough entries to make it interesting. For example, if you enter as a psy trance dj, and there are only 1 or 2 more applicants, we will not have a psy trance competition

2. Application may be rejected if you're already an established dj. If this is just one of many gigs for you in the month, this competition is probably not right for you.

3. You are actually alotted a 18 Minute dj slot. If when the 18 minute mark hits, you are in the middle of the mix, you may continue, however you must have your needle and record off of one table, and your headphones out of the headphone jack before your 20 minutes is up, otherwise you are disqualified! It is not fair to other djs in the competition if someone is allotted more time.

4. All entries must be prepared to play a slot as early as 8pm. your slot within the competition will be random, however the style of music with the most competition will be the latest slots in the evening.

5. You must indicate if you'd like to use cdjs, and no Serato or similar programs will be allowed. We will try to accomodate Serato users if possible, however we cannot have someone unplugging turntables to hook up a serato box in the middle of the competition.

6. ALL CONTESTANTS ARE REQUIRED TO BRING THEIR OWN NEEDLES (If Applicable) AND HEADPHONES. Although this is thought to be common knowledge like bringing your own records and CD's, because of past confusion this must be stated again in the rules.
OK people, we are ready to reveal the djs for the competition.
