Too bad no price yet but knowing PHP, it's probably 45 for early birds, 69 normal and 75 final.

Gizmo, The Prophet and Dana get the thumbs up from me.

Blutonium Boy is a disgrace to the genre of hardstyle. His presence is almost enough to make me boycott.

The date change is f**ked. One week after the Parklife/Gods dirty double, and on the same weekend as the Bathurst V8s (my folks live on the Mount so I usually have mates up for the weekend).

Undecided on attendance.

I cant see how you guys can say one dj is a joke over another (unless theres something other then his music i dont know about) the fact of the matter is i could put on any random track and you wouldnt be able to go " Oh thats obviously Luna" or " Oh thats obviously technoboy" like you could with a band. Theres no signature style in the way that it is easily differentiated especially with hardstyle and gabber.

And yeah, i understand, that his old shit is better. But its like... out of the litterally thousands upon thousands of electronic songs i have, i dont think i could pick out an artist who didnt start releasing some shit to make some $. or shit in my opinion that is

well....thats probably lies. As im listening to beholder and ballistic atm...and i cant think of anything wrong those two have ever done...
but you get the point.

I can disagree to that, the way a Dj performs live is the same as how a band does, whether they perform well or not you are able to judge them as a Dj

Not saying about there ability to perfrom. obviously this will vary.
but just the style of music. Like honestly guys. Ive been listening to electronic music since i was 10, and had to endure constant backlash for liking it over the years. But not even i will ever admit thats its just not BOOM BOOM BOOM repeated over and over again with some twists here and there..because basically thats all it can be.

Go listen to some Blutonium Boy, then listen to some Luna/Zany/Isaac/Technoboy. There is a difference in their styles, even if they all play under the hardstyle genre.

All DJs have signature styles. This is differentiated by genre, signature tracks, scratching/sampling, personality etc etc etc.

I can tell the difference between, say, an Isaac and a Zany set...even if you played them to me without telling me who played which set. I could tell by the tracks they dropped, and the fact that Isaac is an awesome scratcher (above and beyond Zany).

*sigh* im NOT talking about live sets.
If you just say hardstyle for example.
And you pick a DJ. And you pick two or three of there songs. There are no apparent similarities. do you get what i mean? Take zany. 99.9, pure, skyhigh. There is no chance id be able to tell they were all by him. Now lets say i take a band. Tool. I could hear any tool song that i havnt heard before, and say . thats tool.

Now i dont mix, and im not sure if you start mixing, that you are able to notice different things, and if so... i guess i should start mixing =p. But then again, i dont play the guitar either =
we're straying from the point. Blutonium boy has made some great shit. He has also made some shit. He is also a better dj then you or me combined. So im wondering. Why the whinging? Its just another dj, at another rave. Unless blutonium boy is just a arrogant prick or something T_T. Im just curious as i was looking forward to seeing him.

Thought i'd put the full details up :)

Prophecy - Chaos Theory [ events list ]

Like it hard, fast and dirty? We do too, so when Prophecy celebrates its first birthday this October, we want you there for a sensational night of dancefloor demolition and crazy party antics. Bring a spare set of ears because you’re going to need them!

Prophecy Chaos Theory will be bringing out the big guns in the dark arts of dance - hardstyle, hard trance, gabber, hard dance and everything in-between. The more ****ed up and frenetic it is, the more we love it!

Already wearing their party hats for this momentous occasion are five of the Europe’s most formidable and iconic DJ/producers, the heroes of hardstyle themselves – Blutonium Boy, Lady Dana, The Prophet, Gizmo and Max B. Grant. Throw in the UK hardcore stars Force and Devastate and an A-Team of Aussie talent and you’ve got yourself a world-class event that will set your feet on fire.

All we need you to bring is your presence, so get your friends together and make a pilgrimage to Prophecy for one helluva ballistic bash.

Unleash your inner freak and embrace the Chaos theme – anything goes!

INTERNATIONAL DJS

BLUTONIUM BOY - DE
Deutsch dazzler Dirk Adamiak has been commandeering the decks for a massive 18 years. In 1997, he started the seminal Blutonium record label and has continually redefined the hardstyle universe with his coveted ‘Blutonium Presents Hardstyle’ mix series (now in its ninth volume) and an endless string of sure-fire dancefloor hits including ‘Brainshooter’, ‘Make It Loud’ and ‘Paranoid’. With a crate full of exclusives, watch this Boy wreak some serious havoc on the night.

LADY DANA - NL
Dana van Dreven is the undeniable queen of European hardstyle, taking out Best International Hardstyle DJ at this year’s DJ Meeting Awards in Germany. With thirteen years in the business, the sassy Lady Dana hurtles across techno, trance and hardstyle and back again. In 2004, she launched her own Danamite label with dancefloor detonators like ‘Dana – Restyled’ and ‘Back in Time’. More recently, she’s released her ‘Just Dana’ mix and explosive 12"s ‘Mash’ and ‘House of Rock’. Prepare for a royal visit of the highest calibre!

THE PROPHET - NL
Gabber and hardstyle would never be where it is today without the exceptional talent and vision of The Prophet, aka Dov Elkabas. As a key player in the legendary Dream Team, the Dutch veteran was instrumental in the rise and rise of the gabber scene during the ‘90s. After a brief hiatus, he returned with his pioneering Scantraxx label to forge a new movement – hardstyle. This year, he’s blazed away with roof-raising stompers like ‘Big Boyz Don’t Cry’, ‘Pornstar’ and ‘Stampuhh’ with Deepack. Don’t miss this living legend in action!

MAX B GRANT - CH
Second only to Lady Dana in this year’s DJ Meeting Awards, Max B. Grant (aka Massimo Briganti) is an Italian superpower renown for his razor-sharp production and scratching talents. Now based in Switzerland, he’s established the country’s first hardstyle label – ETX – with close to thirty releases already to its name. Always surging ahead in terms of style and innovation, Grant has recently released a relentless new mix album ‘Hardstyle Night’ along with a barrage of singles like ‘Gimme Five’ (with The Ripper), ‘Hardstyle Champion’ and last year’s storming remix of the Prodigy’s ‘No Good’.

GIZMO - NL
Like The Prophet, this Dutch dynamo and fellow Dream Team member was responsible for laying the foundations of his country’s gabber scene. He’s played the world’s biggest raves including Defcon, Thunderdome, Masters of Hardcore and countless others. As the man behind the definitive Harder Mach mix series, he now throws all his energies and skills into hardstyle, jump and hardcore. With an unbelievable 27 years behind the decks, brace yourself for a scorching, high-octane set that’s bound to set the floor on fire.

FORCE - UK
As one half of the legendary hardcore duo Force & Styles, Paul Hobbs has tasted UK Top 40 success with tracks like ‘Pretty Green Eyes’ and the much-remixed hit, ‘Heart of Gold’. Together the pair established the renown UK Dance label in the mid-’90s and steered the UK hardcore evolution out of its rut and into a new golden age. More recently, Force has collaborated with Jack Speed, releasing fresh hits like ‘Whenever You Need Me’, ‘Break of Dawn’ and ‘Welcome (to the Sunshine)’.

DEVASTATE - UK
Since his first gig at the tender age of 16, Dave Hunt has never looked back, rising up through the UK hardcore ranks to become one of its brightest stars. Well known for his partnership with Robbie Long, their collaborations have featured on compilations over the years like Bonkers, Hardcore Heaven and Hardcore Nation. Drawing on UK hardcore, freeform and hardcore breaks, Devastate has proven himself one of the most dynamic and exciting DJs on the block.

DAIR - WA
Perth’s Dair has already blazed a trail here and overseas, playing alongside the world’s hardcore elite including Brisk, Hixxy, Sy, Scott Brown and Slipmatt. He’s worked with seasoned producers like Fade, Luna C, Devastate and most recently with Stromtrooper for his Thin & Crispy debut entitled ‘Do It Like That’. Mashing up hardcore, freeform, breakbeat hardcore & oldskool hardcore, he’s ready to show us east coasters exactly why west is best.

I might give this event a miss since it is too dark and not as uplifting as Prophecy's past lineup. I am not saying these DJs are bad infact i loved their music in Sensation Black :P but if i wanted to go to something dark and fast i will probably go to Godpseed instead of a hybrid godspeed lineup as the next Prophecy presents :P

Who knows I may change my mind closer to the day ;)

I gotta agree on the dark note about this, when prophecy was first created Powerhouse dubbed it the return of happyhard or something like that
Whatever it was it made it clear that prophecy would be dedicated to uplifting hardcore so i am quite lost
Whether or not i will go now depends heavily on how i feel in the coming weeks, bth topes disappointed me somewhat and has left me questioning powerhouse events altogether....Dicuss??
